when people do asana in the beginning, always use diaphragm breathing, actually correct breathing is diaphragm breathing, not nostril or nose, and never use month. i saw many people doing breathing practice in a wrong way, later they developed the problem with transparency mucus from nostrils. Many senior teachers who had taught tai-ji or yoga for many year carry this problem.
so be careful while you are using mouth to do the breathing. i never use mouth to breath, always use diaphragm. When lifting heavy load work, always use a proper breathing way, either natural or unnatural (if you are familiar with it). Don't hold breath too long out of your limit.
