Western Countries Exploitation

Why does China focus solely on infrastructure development in its foreign aid, while Western countries not only build infrastructure but also engage in missionary work? When Professor Zhang Weiwei heard this question, a confident smile—typical of him—appeared on his face. Yet the smile seemed to carry a profound insight into the essence of the question. He began to speak slowly, in a steady and powerful voice. "I once had the privilege of a deep conversation with an African scholar," he said. "During our talk, he raised a similar point. He said that when Western countries come to Africa, they are enthusiastic about building churches. The underlying purpose is to promote an entire set of Western values to the African people." According to Professor Zhang’s recollection, the African scholar had a confused look on his face, puzzled, and asked: "Why don’t you Chinese do the same?" To this, Professor Zhang thought for a moment and partly quoted Premier Zhou Enlai’s speech at the 1955 Bandung Conference: "Chinese culture emphasizes seeking common ground while reserving differences. It possesses a strong inclusiveness." He then explained that this is not just diplomatic rhetoric or hollow political jargon—it is a deeply rooted aspect of Chinese historical and cultural tradition. Looking back at history, Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism have coexisted harmoniously on Chinese soil—interacting, blending, and developing together. To foreigners accustomed to monotheism, this is nothing short of a miracle—a cultural phenomenon both difficult to comprehend and yet undeniably real. Fast forward to July 2023: another military coup erupted in Niger, once again capturing global attention. The world’s media zoomed in. In front of international cameras, an officer of the Nigerien Presidential Guard, visibly emotional and indignant, spoke his mind: "We have abundant resources. So why do we live like slaves?" This deeply personal question struck a nerve, prompting reflection on Africa’s past and present. In truth, this seemingly simple statement is a true reflection of Africa’s centuries-long history. And the root cause of all this suffering? The Western powers that still dominate the global stage. Back in the 15th century, the Portuguese began exploring Africa. Navigation technology was still relatively underdeveloped at the time, so their progress was slow. But in the mid-15th century, with funding from Prince Henry of Portugal, brave navigators set sail once again. This marked the beginning of European colonizers stepping onto African soil. Portuguese captains, along with explorers from the regions of present-day Italy, driven by a hunger for wealth, risked everything. They spread the word of Africa’s riches across Europe, triggering a blood-soaked wave of colonial plunder. In their scramble for colonies, slaves, minerals, and markets, the European powers cast off their mask of civility, revealing their true greedy and brutal nature. Africa became a battleground of looting and violence. Different European countries fought each other for control of African land, engaging in endless bloodshed and atrocities. As time passed, most of Africa’s colonies fell into the hands of France, Britain, and other European powers. Colonial exploitation gave these nations the capital they needed for industrialization. They drained Africa’s resources to fuel their own economic development—while Africans sank deeper into suffering. Even today, in the highly developed 21st century, France—the most aggressive colonizer in Africa—has not stopped plundering the continent. Using economic control and military intimidation, France continues to extract wealth from West African nations. According to economists, France takes over $800 billion annually from Africa. With a population of only 68 million, this means each French citizen benefits from $12,000 worth of African wealth every year—nearly equivalent to China’s per capita GDP. Such a staggering disparity reveals the severe degree of France’s economic exploitation of Africa. But economic plunder alone is not sustainable. To reduce resistance and ensure the longevity of their colonial project, Western colonizers turned to another powerful tool: spiritual conquest through missionary work. An old African proverb encapsulates this irony: "They came with the Bible and took away the gold." This simple yet profound saying exposes the true face of many Western missionaries in Africa—far from the noble, benevolent image portrayed online. In reality, many were not kind-hearted saints but key enablers of colonial rule, acting as spiritual accomplices to the gun-wielding colonizers. Western conquest was both military and mental, symbolized by the cross and the sword advancing together. As Lu Xun once said: "If one can find joy in the life of a slave, then truly, there is no redemption." Western missionaries spread Catholicism not for salvation, but to pacify the oppressed African natives—to make them believe their suffering was due to original sin, not colonial oppression. The goal was to numb their spirit, making them accept colonial rule rather than resist it. In the eyes of the Western colonizers, a good African slave should work at least 14 hours a day, then drag their exhausted body to church, buy indulgences from the church, and pray for God’s forgiveness. The Western missionary, standing on the pulpit, would say: "Your sins are forgiven. Poverty needs no change. After all, it’s harder for a rich man to enter heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. You suffer now, but you’ll go to heaven. Just endure. Amen." Thus filled with a false hope of heavenly reward, these poor souls would wake the next day under the whip—and proudly offer their labor once again, unaware they had fallen into a spiritual trap meticulously crafted by the West. Aside from this spiritual anesthetic, missionaries also played another role: a buffer between colonizers and natives. Colonial exploitation was often so brutal that resistance was inevitable. For example, in the 19th century, King Leopold II of Belgium forced Congolese laborers to increase banana production under inhumane conditions—chopping off the limbs of those who failed. This sparked intense local resistance. That’s when the Catholic Church intervened. Missionaries came to the villages, offering basic supplies and medical aid in the name of charity. But in exchange, they asked the locals to convert to religion, thereby dissolving their desire to resist. To be fair, some missionaries were morally upright, much like Dr. Norman Bethune, who aided China during its war of resistance. Some did provide healthcare and education that improved lives. But ultimately, even their good deeds served to prolong the cruel colonial system—a system that extracted material wealth while inducing spiritual submission. In the end, both body and soul were taken by the West. Africans were pushed into an abyss of misery. But thankfully, a new dawn rose on the horizon—from the distant East. China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) offered Africa a path out of hell. The BRI, based on the principles of consultation, collaboration, and shared benefit, has created new development opportunities for African nations. Unlike the West, which sees Africa as a servant, China treats African nations as partners. The West views China’s involvement in Africa as a threat—labeling it “neo-colonialism”—because they fear losing their traditional grip on the region. But China doesn’t argue. It lets the African people speak for themselves. And in their eyes, China has a very positive image. China offers aid and loans without political strings attached, respects the sovereignty of African nations, and does not interfere in their internal affairs. Chinese companies also provide valuable jobs. In Tanzania, for instance, a Chinese employer can hire a domestic helper for just 12 RMB (about $1.60) for half a day—an extraordinarily high wage locally. These jobs have brought hope to many families. Moreover, China’s aid focuses on key sectors like healthcare, infrastructure, education, and agriculture, which are directly linked to people’s livelihoods—unlike many Western NGOs that focus on animal protection and block ivory trade, depriving East African nations of economic opportunities. In healthcare, Chinese medical teams offer free services, treating diseases and improving public health. In infrastructure, China builds roads, bridges, and railways, boosting economic development. In education, China trains skilled professionals, raising educational standards. In agriculture, China teaches advanced techniques, helping solve food shortages. China may not be the most technologically advanced, but it is certainly the most sincere. It does not see Africa as a marketplace to exploit or a cultural subject to dominate. Instead, China aims to build a shared future for humanity—a world where every nation can chart its own path. In short, China’s only wish is simple: that the world’s poor and underdeveloped nations can become prosperous and engage in trade. China is willing to offer a hand through aid and cooperation. It all comes down to four characters: 求同存异—“seek common ground while reserving differences.” Through the Belt and Road framework, China and Africa are writing a new chapter of development, grounded in mutual benefit and shared progress.

When it's favor to you, you want free trade, if reverse, then you say it's not fair.

Could it be fair to say that we are witnessing Western Opportunism in its truest form? As long as free trade worked for all of you. You said free trade globalization. Now that Asian countries, now that the global South is catching up. You say lthis is not fair, there are too many tariffs and so on. Is this what it's all about?

Visha Mitra, a white racist

From my observation over the years, Anglo-Saxon people can never understand what “Zen” is. Never ever have I met one who knows all of these years. One reason I know is that they can never understand Chinese. Visha Mitra placed this electrical box on my property without my permission or even discussing it with me. Why? Because I’m Chinese. He thinks he can easily bully me. And also because he is white, and Anisha is white. White people always favor white people. Don’t think Ananda Marga is free from racism—it has more racism than a Christian group or a Buddhist group. This will be a dark stain on Visha Mitra’s life forever. The same goes for Ramesha, Anisha, and Tusiita. I will make sure 1.4 billion Chinese people know about this—once, twice, a million times. I will keep speaking out again and again. Even if it means having no friends here, I will uphold my moral principles. Years ago, I told Jaganat Visha Mitra didn’t want to sell his land to him. He was afraid that more Chinese were coming in, so white favoritism couldn’t stay here. Luckily, Sharadha left, and she was so smart to see things so clearly. She left because she saw so many ex-acraya here was not right. Sooner or later, it will come out what’s going on. Really, now, you can see the bad things happened here. Makes me vomiting over those ex. Gossip is the masterpiece of this small Margii group. It thrives here, and everyone competes to see who knows the most. I’m afraid of these people, especially the sisters—they never stop gossiping, no matter what. By the end of this year, I might even crown a Gossip Queen and Gossip King in this small group—or perhaps among the Katuah HOA members. Lately, I’ve been selling a house, which has drawn attention from the Margiis—especially the sisters—who keep asking whether it’s true or not. Margiis are always obsessed with knowing how much money I have. Even the acharyas never stop prying for details. At first, I thought they just wanted donations from me. But now, even after I’ve been open about it, they still keep digging. Because of this, I hide myself away. I don’t want to show my face in the group, yet they still won’t leave me alone. I’ve realized one thing: American Margiis never truly mature into real men.

briefing Heavy rare earths can only be purified to 99.999% purity in China, and only when this purity is reached can it be used. The U.S. can only achieve 95% purification levels, so all countries need to import from China.

who loves America the most?

Would Donald Trump make strong president? he might be quite decisive but do I consider Donald Trump an ideal decision maker or manager of anything and the answer is no and the last person almost that I want to be president of the United states is Donald Trump. Really? Yes! Why? Well, I think he has qualities that make him unsuitable for the office . Those quality? Vain glory, puffery to too large an extent. I can go on and on. The tension in the CNN debate studio was thick enough to cut with a knife under the blazing studio lights 2 of America's most controversial political figures sat across from each other ready for what would become the most shocking political confrontation of 2025 Caroline Levitt the 27 year old former White House press secretary turned congressional candidate sat confidently in her signature Navy blazer blonde hair perfectly styled eyes sharp with the kind of ambition that had made for trump's youngest spokesperson across from her cash Patel the 45 year old former FBI director nominee and son of Indian immigrants adjusted his tie with the calm precision of a man who had spent years in the intelligence community what happened in the next 30 seconds would send shockwaves across America and change both of their political careers forever Mr. Patel Levitt began her voice carrying that familiar edge that had made her famous during White House briefings maybe it's time you stopped pretending to understand American values and went back to India where you belong the words hung in the air like a bomb waiting to explode studio audience gasped CNN anchor Anderson Cooper's eyes widened in disbelief social media would later call it the most racist comment ever made on live television by a major political figure but Cash patel's response nobody saw it coming what he said next didn't just destroy levitt's political career that exposed the truth about America that left the entire nation speechless before we dive into this incredible story hit that like button and subscribe so you don't miss any of the explosive political drama we cover trust me you won't want to miss what happens next this wasn't just another political debate this was the moment when America's ugly truths collided with its highest ideals live on national television and by the end of this confrontation one career would be over one would be transformed and the entire country would be talking about what it really means to be American to understand how we got to this explosive moment, you need to know who these two people really are and why this debate mattered so much to America's future at just 27 Caroline Levitt had already conquered political heights that most people never reach in their entire careers, born and raised in New Hampshire she came from a working class, catholic family that taught her the value of hard work and conservative principles, after graduating from Saint Anselm college, She landed a job in Trump’s white house communications team. When she bearly 24 years old. Levitt quickly made a name for herself as one of trump's most fierce defenders. Her youth combined with her sharp tongue and unwavering loyalty made her immediate darling among conservatives when trump needed someone who could handle hostile press conferences and never backed down from a fight. He chose Levitt as the youngest White House press secretary in American history. But levitt's rise wasn't without controversy critics called her trump's attack dog pointing to her history of inflammatory statements and her willingness to say whatever it took to defend her boss her supporters saw her as a breath of fresh air a young woman who wasn't afraid to stand up to the liberal media establishment after leaving the White House Levitt set her sights on Congress running for New Hampshire's first district on a platform of America first policies and traditional values she positioned herself as the future of the conservative movement the one who would carry trump's torch into the next generation. Cash Patel's story was quintessentially American even though Levitt would try to use it against him. Born to parents who immigrated from India in the 1970s Patel grew up in New York watching his father work multiple jobs to provide for his family his parents had come to America with nothing but dreams and a work ethic that would make their son proud Patel excelled in school earning a law degree and eventually working his way up through the Department of Justice he served as a prosecutor going after terrorists and drug cartels putting his life on the line for his adopted country. When Trump came to power Patel became one of his most trusted advisors on national security matters as a senior official in the trump administration Patel was known for his intelligence his loyalty and his ability to get things done he played key roles in counter terrorism operations and was instrumental in exposing what trump called the deep state conspiracy against his presidency trump trusted Patel so much that he nominated him to lead the FBI though the nomination faced fierce opposition from Democrats who saw him as too loyal to trump unlike many politicians Patel had actually put his life on the line for America he had worked undercover operations had been threatened by terrorists and had spent years in the intelligence community protecting American lives his record of service was impeccable but to some his Indian heritage made him an easy target this CNN debate wasn't just about two political careers it was happening at a crucial moment in American politics when questions about immigration identity and what it means to be truly American we're dividing the country Levitt represented a wing of the conservative movement that believed America was losing its identity she spoke for millions of Americans who felt that their country was changing too fast that traditional values were under attack and that only people with deep American roots could truly understand what the country needed Patel represented something different the American dream in action he was proof that immigrants could become some of America's most dedicated patriots that love of country wasn't determined by how many generations your family had been here but by your willingness to serve and sacrifice for American ideals this India debate was supposed to focus on national security policy an area where both had expertise leave it had been trump's spokesperson during major international crises while Patel had actually been in the room making life and death decisions about America's safety but as the cameras rolled in the questions began it became clear that this would be about much more than policy this would be about the soul of America itself CNN had billed it as the future of conservative politics featuring 2 rising stars who represented different visions for where the Republican Party should go the network expected fireworks but nobody anticipated what was about to happen the stage was set. Two ambitious politicians each representing a different vision of America sitting across from each other under the brightest lights in the country one would walk away victorious the other would have their career destroyed by their own words what happened next would force America to confront some uncomfortable truths about itself the debate started normally enough Anderson Cooper CNN's veteran anchor opened with questions about border security and National Defence safe territory for both candidates for the first 20 minutes Levitt and Patel traded policy positions like seasoned professionals Levitt advocated for strict immigration controls and accused the Biden administration of weakening America's borders we need leaders who understand that America must come first. She said her voice was confident and clear. Our citizens deserve to know that their government is working for them not for people who have no right to be here. Patel responded with his typical measured tone outlining specific policies while drawing on his experience in law enforcement I've spent my career actually catching the bad guys he said calmly I've worked undercover to stop drug cartels and terrorists I know the difference between real threats and political talking points the first sign of trouble came when Cooper asked about the trump administration's immigration policies Levitt immediately went on the attack suggesting that some trump officials hadn't been tough enough on immigration enforcement we need people in government who truly understand American values Levitt said her eyes flashing toward Patel people whose loyalty to this country can never be questioned. Patel raised an eyebrow but maintained his composure I think my record speaks for itself he replied I've risked my life for this country more than once I've put terrorists in prison and helped keep Americans safe if that's not loyalty I don't know what it is but Levitt wasn't backing down she had come to this debate with a strategy and she was determined to execute it regardless of the consequences it's easy to claim loyalty she shot back but real Americans don't need to prove their patriotism. It's in their blood. The phrase real Americans hung in the air like a warning shot. Cooper shifted uncomfortably in his chair sensing that the debate was heading into dangerous territory in the control room CNN producers began to worry about where this was going patel's jaw tightened slightly but his voice remained steady miss Levitt I hope you're not suggesting that American citizenship is determined by ancestry rather than values and service I am suggesting, Levitt replied her voice getting sharper that some people understand America instinctively while others have to learn it from books the audience in the studio began to murmur this was getting personal and everyone could feel it on social media viewers were already starting to take sides with hashtags like Warner real Americans and immigrant pride beginning to trend Cooper tried to steer the conversation back to policy asking about specific border security measures but Levitt had tasted blood and she wasn't going to let this opportunity slip away she had clearly decided that the best way to defeat Patel was to question his fundamental right to speak for America. Mr. Patel talks a good game about American values she continued but when push comes to shove where do his loyalties really lie when he looks in the mirror does he see an American or does he see something else the studio fell silent this was no longer a policy debate this was a direct attack on patel's identity and belonging in America Cooper looked stunned clearly struggling with whether to intervene or let this play out Patel's supporters watching at home felt their hearts sink they had seen this before the subtle and not so subtle suggestions that Americans with immigrant backgrounds could never be real Americans no matter how much they achieved or sacrificed but Patel himself remained calm almost eerily so he looked directly at Levitt with the kind of steady gaze that had intimidated terrorists an interrogation rooms. Miss Levitt he said quietly I think you should be very careful about the road you're going down levitt either didn't hear the warning in his voice or chose to ignore it she had committed to this strategy and she was going to see it through to the end. I think you should be very careful about the road you're going down. Levitt either didn't hear the warning in his voice or chose to ignore it she had committed to this strategy and she was going to see it through to the end. Mr. Patel you've served in government and I respect that but there's a difference between serving America and truly understanding America , some of us were born with that understanding others she paused dramatically others will always trying to prove they belong. The insult was clear even if the words were carefully chosen. Levit was suggesting that Pathel despite his years of years of service and sacrifice could never be a real American because of his immigrant background Patel nodded slowly as if he had been expecting this moment all along I see he said calmly so you believe that American identity is determined by ancestry rather than actions that's an interesting position for someone who claims to support constitutional values I believe Levitt replied her voice rising that America should be led by Americans who don't need to prove their loyalty because it's never been in question the crowd was getting restless now some people were cheering levitt's boldness while others were clearly uncomfortable with the direction of the conversation Cooper was frantically getting instructions through his earpiece with CNN executives unsure whether to cut to commercial or let this explosive moment continue that when Patel did something unexpected instead of getting angry or defensive he smiled it was a calm confident smile that suggested he knew something that nobody else in the room knew miss Levitt he said his voice taking on a different tone since you want to talk about who really belongs in America let me tell you a story it's about my family and it's about yours and by the time I'm done I think everyone watching will understand exactly who deserves to question whose loyalty to this country levitt's confidence faltered for just a moment something in patel's tone suggested that he wasn't about to roll over and take her attacks in fact it sounded like he had been preparing for this moment his entire career you see Patel continued his voice growing stronger I've spent years in the intelligence community I know how to research people I know how to find information and before I came here tonight I did a little research on you miss Levitt what I found was very very interesting the studio fell completely silent even the camera operators stopped moving everyone sensed that something big was about to happen levitt's face had gone pale she clearly hadn't expected Patel to fight back with information of his own I don't know what you think you found she said but her voice had lost its earlier confidence patel's smile widened ohh I think you know exactly what I found but don't worry I'm going to share it with everyone and that's when kash Patel dropped a bombshell that would change everything cash Patel leaned forward in his chair his hands folded calmly in front of him the studio lights seemed to focus on him as he prepared to deliver what would become one of the most devastating political comebacks in American history miss Levitt he began his voice carrying the authority of someone who had spent years briefing presidents and hunting terrorists you just told me to go back to India you suggested that I'm not a real American you questioned my loyalty to this country he paused letting the weight of her words sink in with the audience but before we talk about who belongs in America let me share some facts with the American people facts that I think they deserve to know Levitt shifted uncomfortably in her seat the confidence she had shown just moments earlier was evaporating as she realised that Patel wasn't going to simply absorb her attack you see Patel continued when you work in intelligence you learn to verify everything so when I heard that I would be debating Caroline Levitt tonight I did what any good investigator would do I checked the facts about both of our families he reached into his jacket and pulled out a folder this is public information available to anyone who cares to look but I suspect most Americans don't know the real story of the Levitt family history the camera zoomed in on the folder as Patel opened it deliberately CNN producers were frantically trying to decide whether to intervene but the ratings were skyrocketing as viewers across the country sensed they were witnessing something historic let's start with my family Patel said calmly my parents came to America in 1970 with nothing but hope and determination my father worked three jobs as a taxi driver during the day a security guard at night and a janitor on weekends my mother cleaned office buildings and took care of other people's children his voice remained steady but there was emotion behind it they didn't come here for government handouts or special treatment they came here because they believed in the American dream the idea that if you work hard and follow the rules you can build a better life for your children he looked directly at Levitt my father never took a penny of welfare never asked for special treatment never expected America to owe him anything he just worked and saved and sent me to school with the money he earned with his own hands the studio was completely silent now even levitt's supporters were listening intently when i was old enough to serve my country patel continued i didn't hesitate i became a prosecutor putting criminals in prison i worked undercover to catch drug dealers and terrorists. Arrests I risked my life in operations that I still can't talk about because they're classified he paused his eyes never leaving levitt's face I've been shot at by terrorists I've been threatened by drug cartels I've spent nights in foreign countries where being discovered would have meant death all to protect American lives the emotion in his voice was growing stronger now so when miss Levitt questions my loyalty to America when she tells me to go back to India she's not just insulting me she's insulting every immigrant family that has ever sacrificed for this country she's insulting every American whose parents came here seeking a better life applause began to ripple through parts of the audience but Patel held up his hand but I'm not done yet because the really interesting part isn't my family's story it's hers levitt's face went white she clearly hadn't expected this Patel opened the folder and pulled out several documents you see miss Levitt loves to talk about being a real American whose family has deep roots in this country she's built her entire political identity around the idea that she represents authentic American values he held up the first document but according to public records the Levitt family immigrated to America in 1892 that's right Caroline Levitt is a third generation immigrant just like millions of other Americans the audience began to murmur this wasn't what anyone had expected but here's where it gets really interesting Patel continued his voice taking on the tone of a prosecutor presenting evidence to a jury the Levitt family came here from wait for it Canada he paused for effect that's right folks the woman who just told me to go back to India is herself the descendant of Canadian immigrants who came to America looking for economic opportunities the murmuring in the audience grew louder some people began to laugh at the irony but wait there's more Patel said clearly enjoying himself now according to immigration records caroline's great grandfather Thomas Levitt was actually refused entry to the United states twice before finally being admitted on his third attempt Levitt tried to interrupt this is ridiculous you can't compare oh but I can Patel cut her off smoothly because you see Thomas Levitt was rejected because immigration officials were concerned about his ability to support himself in America he had no money no job prospects and no guarantees he looked directly at the camera in other words Thomas Levitt was exactly the kind of immigrant that his great granddaughter now wants to keep out of America the audience erupted some people were cheering others were laughing and a few were clearly uncomfortable with this turn of events Patel wasn't finished but here's my favorite part of the Levitt family story Thomas levitt's immigration petition was actually sponsored by an Indian American businessman who had made his fortune in the textile industry the studio fell silent again as the full impact of this revelation sank in that's right Patel said his voice rising now caroline levitt's family was only able to come to america because an indian immigrant vouched for them and helped them get his voice rising now Caroline levitt's family was only able to come to America because an Indian immigrant vouched for them and helped them get established he turned to face Levitt directly so when you tell me to go back to India you're literally telling the descendant of the people who helped your family come to America to leave the country that we both call home the irony was so perfect so complete that even some of levitt's supporters in the audience began to shake their heads in disbelief but Patel wasn't done delivering his knockout punch miss Levitt he said his voice now carrying the full authority of his years in law enforcement you want to talk about real Americans let me tell you what real Americans do he stood up his presence commanding the entire studio real Americans don't judge people by the color of their skin or the country their grandparents came from real Americans judge people by their character their actions and their service to others his voice was rising with passion now real Americans don't tell other Americans to go back where they came from especially when their own families came from somewhere else too he pointed directly at Leavitt real Americans don't build their careers on dividing people and spreading hate real Americans build their careers on bringing people together and serving their country the audience was on its feet now many people applauding loudly even some of the camera operators were nodding in agreement you want to know the difference between us miss Levitt Patel asked his voice now thundering through the studio my family came to America with nothing and gave everything to this country your family came to America with nothing and apparently taught their descendants to look down on other people who did the same thing he paused writing his words sink in I've spent my entire adult life serving America as a prosecutor as an intelligence officer as a public servant you've spent your career serving Donald Trump and your own political ambitions the contrast was stark and devastating so before you ever again question anyone's loyalty to America Patel concluded his voice dropping to a whisper that somehow carried throughout the entire studio you might want to look in the mirror and ask yourself what you've actually done to make this country better he sat back down folded his hands and looked calmly at Anderson Cooper I believe you had a question about border security the studio erupted in applause even some of the CNN crew were clapping Levitt sat in her chair her face red with embarrassment and anger clearly unable to formulate a response to the devastating takedown she had just received Cooper professional that he was tried to restore order to the debate but everyone knew that the real drama was over cash Patel had just delivered one of the most perfect political comebacks in American history using levitt's own family history to expose the hypocrisy of her attack as the applause finally died down Patel looked directly into the camera and said America is great because we welcome people who want to work hard and contribute to our society regardless of where they came from that's what makes us different from every other country in the world and anyone who tries to divide us based on our origins doesn't understand what America is really about the message was clear powerful and undeniably American and in that moment kash Patel didn't just win a debate he reminded the entire country what it really means to be American the immediate aftermath of cash patel's devastating response was unlike anything CNN had ever experienced within seconds of his final statement social media exploded in a way that political observers had never seen before before Anderson Cooper could even wrap up the debate mundane cash destroys Caroline was trending #1 on Twitter the video clip of patel's response was being shared faster than the platform servers could process it conservative commentator Ben Shapiro who rarely praised anyone outside his own ideological circle tweeted holy shut I've never seen a more perfect political takedown in my life Cash Patel just schooled everyone on what American values actually mean liberal commentator van Jones usually a harsh critic of trump associated figures posted I disagreed with Patel on policy but what he just did was pure American greatness sometimes truth transcends politics the memes started flowing immediately the most popular showed a photo of Patel calmly sitting with his folder while Levitt looked panicked captioned when you come to a fact fight with talking points another showed the Statue of Liberty giving a thumbs up with the text immigrants schooling racists since 1886 but the most powerful posts weren't memes they were personal stories thousands of Americans began sharing their own immigration stories many starting with my family came here from followed by tales of sacrifice hard work and love of country the political implications were immediate and far reaching within hours major republican figures were forced to choose sides in a way that revealed deep fractures within the conservative movement senator Ted Cruz himself the son of an immigrant tweeted cash Patel just reminded us all what conservative values really mean character matters more than ancestry service matters more than heritage Florida governor Ron de santis clearly trying to navigate the controversy carefully posted America has always been strengthened by legal immigrants who embrace our values and contribute to our society but perhaps the most surprising response came from Donald Trump himself known for his loyalty to his former staff trump found himself in an impossible position Levitt had been one of his most faithful defenders but Patel had also been a trusted adviser trump's response posted to truth social 3 hours after the debate was characteristically unpredictable cash Patel is a Great American and a true patriot he served our administration with honor and distinction some people need to learn the difference between America first and America only we welcome legal immigrants who love our country the statement was widely interpreted as trump throwing Levitt under the bus while embracing Patel a stunning reversal for someone who usually stood by his people no matter what major news outlets struggled to process what they had witnessed Fox News usually friendly to trump aligned figures like Levitt found themselves in an awkward position Tucker Carlson often criticized for his own comments about immigration surprised everyone with his response on his show the next night what cash Patel did last night wasn't just good television Carlson said it was a master class in American values when someone attacks you for your background you don't respond with anger you respond with facts with service and with dignity that's what winners do CNN's ratings for the debate broke records becoming the most watched political program in the network's history Anderson Cooper reflecting on the moment during the next day's broadcast said in 30 years of journalism I've never seen anything like what kash Patel did last night he turned what could have been a moment of division into a lesson what unites us as Americans even international media took notice the BBC's headline read american debate shows how immigrants often understand democracy better than native born citizens the times of india proudly proclaimed indian american shows america how to win with for Caroline Levitt the aftermath was a political disaster of epic proportions by the morning after the debate three major donors had pulled their support from her congressional campaign her campaign manager resigned citing fundamental disagreements about strategy and messaging the New Hampshire Republican Party which had previously endorsed her candidacy issued a carefully worded statement distancing themselves from her comments the New Hampshire Republican Party believes that American values are not determined by ancestry but by character and service to country more damaging were the defections from her own staff her communications director press secretary and deputy campaign manager all resigned within 48 hours with several citing their own immigrant backgrounds as factors in their decisions Levitt attempted damage control with a series of tweets and a hastily arranged press conference but nothing could undo the damage her explanation that she had been taken out of context rang hollow when the entire exchange was available on video I never meant to suggest that Mister Patel wasn't American she claimed at her press conference I was simply trying to highlight the difference between those who understand American culture instinctively and those who have had to learn it the explanation only made things worse as critics pointed out that she was still suggesting there were different levels of americanness based on family history for cash Patel the debate transformed him from a respected but relatively unknown former government official into a national conservative hero speaking requests poured in from across the country book publishers reached out about autobiography deals political operatives began floating his name for higher office but perhaps more importantly Patel had achieved something rare in modern politics he had managed to unite people across party lines around a shared vision of American values his response to Levitt was studied in political science classes as an example of how to respond to attacks with grace and effectiveness communications experts praised his use of facts his emotional authenticity and his ability to turn a negative moment into a positive message about America the debate had implications far beyond the two participants patel's response forced a broader conversation about immigration and American identity that many politicians had been avoiding immigration advocacy groups seized on patel's words as a perfect example of how immigrants often have a deeper appreciation for American values than those who take them for granted conservative groups found themselves in the unusual position of defending an immigration narrative that emphasized contribution over restriction the debate also highlighted the complexity of modern American identity millions of Americans saw themselves in both patel's story of immigrant success and levitt's appeal to traditional American values forcing a more nuanced conversation about what it means to belong in America in the months following the debate political analysts identified it as a turning point in how conservatives talk about immigration and American identity the old model of US versus them rhetoric became much more difficult to sustain when the them included people like cash Patel who had clearly sacrificed more for America than many of the people questioning their loyalty republican primary candidates across the country found themselves being asked the Patel question how they would respond to attacks on the americanness of legal immigrants who had served their country with distinction the debate also marked the beginning of the end for levitt's political career she would eventually withdraw from the congressional race citing family considerations though everyone understood that her candidacy had become untenable after the debate perhaps the most important outcome of the debate was the message it sent about American values in the 21st century patel's response reminded the country that America's strength has always come from its ability to welcome people who are willing to work hard and contribute to society regardless of where they came from his calm factual response to a racist attack showed that the best way to combat division is not with anger or defensiveness but with truth dignity and an unwavering commitment to the values that make America great as one viral tweet put it kash Patel just showed America how to win an argument without losing your soul the story of cash patel's triumph over Caroline levitt's attack became more than just a political moment it became the template for how Americans should respond when faced with attempts to divide them based on ancestry or background in the end the debate proved that America's greatest strength isn't its military or its economy it's its ability to create Americans out of people from anywhere in the world who are willing to embrace American values and contribute to American success if this story inspired you like it inspired millions of Americans make sure to hit that subscribe button and share this video with everyone you know this is exactly the kind of political courage and American spirit that we need more of in our country let us know in the comments what you thought of kash patel's incredible response and don't forget to check out there are other videos about the real heroes who are fighting for America's future the lesson was clear in America your worth isn't determined by where your grandparents came from it's determined by what you're willing to do for the country you call home and sometimes it takes an immigrant son to remind the rest of us what that really means.

how to make spaghetti

Today, on this Day at Home Chef, I'm showing you how to make homemade spaghetti sauce. This one is a tried and true family favorite that I've been making for years. In fact, usually I make a double batch just so I can freeze half for those busy nights when I don't feel like cooking. We're going to be using three different preserved tomato products today, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. These will give you the best, most fresh tomato flavor because they were preserved immediately after picking. If you want to use whole tomatoes, I have a separate video for that. You'll just want to make sure that they're fresh, like from your own garden or from a farmer's market. Next, let's head on over to the stove and get started. Get 2 tablespoons of olive oil heating in a four to six quart. That over medium high heat gives out a minute to heat up and then add in one white or yellow diced onion. We're going to saute this for about 5 minutes until the onions start to get soft and translucent. Now I'm demonstrating just the plain spaghetti sauce because my family likes to eat spaghetti and meatballs so I don't need to. Had any ground beef to this? However, if you wanted to use ground beef, you'd add it in with your onions and cook it thoroughly and then drain off the excess grease. Next, I'm going to add in five cloves of minced garlic. Let the garlic toast for about 60 to 90 seconds to really bring out the best garlic flavor, and then we'll pour it. In half a cup of chicken broth, or you can use white or red wine. Add in 28 to 30 ounces of crushed tomato, 15 ounces of tomato sauce which is just pureed tomatoes, and a six ounce can of tomato paste. And if you cut open both sides, an easy trick is that you can then use the other light. To push it right through makes it come out so much easier. Then we'll sprinkle in a tablespoon of sugar, which will help to counteract the acidity of the tomatoes. Or if you don't want to use sugar, you can use the same amount one tablespoon of really finely minced carrot. Next you'll need one tablespoon of dried oregano, half a teaspoon. Of salt 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and then this last one is optional but I also like to add in one tablespoon of fennel seeds. Fennel has this wonderful anise flavor. They use it in sausages and so this adds a real meaty flavor to the sauce without actually using meat then we'll add in half a cup of fresh basil, or you can use about 2 tablespoons of dried basil on the very last ingredient, 1/4 cup of freshly chopped parsley or one tablespoon of dried parsley. Then we just stir this all together and bring it to a simmer. Flavor is going to develop as this sauce simmers. I recommend letting it simmer over a low heat for at least 30 minutes. Or if you've got the time, this can go for up to two to four hours with long simmering times you want to add a lid on to prevent evaporation. If you don't want to babysit it on the stove top, you can also transfer it all into a slow cooker and let it simmer throughout the day while you're busy doing other things and running errands, and then it will be ready for dinner once your sauce. Is done simmering. You can either serve it up as is all chunky, or use an immersion blender or a regular blender to blend until smooth. You can use this recipe for canning. You'll need to add the appropriate ratio of lemon juice or citric acid, or the easiest way to store it is to freeze it. I just put it into a plastic resealable. Freezer bag and then lay it flat to freeze. Thanks for watching. You can find the full written recipe in the video description. Be sure to subscribe, like and follow, and check out the rest of my videos where you can find hundreds of restaurant quality recipes you can easily make at home. We'll see you later.

Why people are not happy? Says by Charlie Munger

Last year when we talked. Earlier you mentioned that. Donald Trump exhibited a form of sickness, I think is how you characterize it. I think it came you were characterizing. His personality and his behavior. It's been another year since he's been in office and I wonder how you would assess him. Well, because I consider it counterproductive to hate as much as both parties now hate. And I have disciplined myself and I know. I regard all politicians. Higher than I used to. I did that as a matter of self preservation. The other thing I did to make me feel better about the current scene is I reread the decline and Fall of the Roman Empire and it goes on for a great many hundreds of pages. And that made me feel a lot better about the current political scene. We're way ahead of the. Comments at the end. That's a pretty low bar. Well, I didn't. It's very helpful. I suggest you try it. You will feel better about the present world if you look at that one. And you said you elevated politicians. Yeah. Make yourself feel better. Explain. It's counterproductive. I hate so much. All of us on both sides are getting to hate so much too much. And I've decided I'm gonna back off from that. How do we resolve it? We don't have to resolve it. They all pass. Remember the old saying, this too will pass. They all go away. I have a different rule about politicians. They are never so bad you don't live to want them back. There will come a time when those people who hate Trump will wish that he were back. I don't think I'll live to see it, but I confidently predict that will happen. That's interesting. Well, if you look at the whole scan of human history and the people who led it. There are a lot of bad leaders. When we talked last year, you mentioned that Donald Trump was showing some kind of pathology — I remember you describing it that way. At that time, you were dissecting his personality and behavior. Now that he's been in power for another year, I wonder what you think of him now? Because I don't think it's good for anyone to be so deeply hated by the two parties as they are today. I've been restraining myself and I've started to look at all politicians to a higher standard than I used to – it's actually a form of self-preservation. Another way to feel better about the current situation is to reread History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. This magnum opus is hundreds of pages long, and after reading it, I was relieved by the current political situation. We are at least much better than the situation described at the end of the book...... Although this standard is indeed low enough. But it works, so I recommend you try it – you'll feel better about the real world after reading it. (Interviewer: You said you raised your rating of politicians?) Yes, it's more comfortable for you. The explanation is this: endless hatred is meaningless. Now that both of us are in an excessive hatred, I decided to jump out of this cycle. (Interviewer: So how do you solve the problem?) There is no need to solve it at all. Everything will pass, and as the old saying goes, "this too will pass away". All politicians will eventually retire from the stage. I have a rule for observing politicians: no matter how bad a politician is, one day you will miss him. Those who hate Trump now will be hoping for his return at some point in the future. I may not live to that day, but I'm sure it will happen. It's actually quite interesting. Throughout human history, bad rulers have never been uncommon. Why people are not happy? Says by Charlie Munger When things were way tougher. And that has a very simple explanation. The world is not driven by greed, driven by envy. And so the fact that everybody's five times better off than they used to be, they take it for granted. All they think about is somebody else has having more now. And it's not fair that he should have it and they don't. That's the reason that God came down and told Moses that you couldn't envy your neighbor's wife or even his donkey. I mean, even the old Jews were having trouble with envy. And so it's built into the nature of things that a lot of people are very unhappy and feel very abused after everything's approved by about 600% because there's still somebody else who has more. You know, we have whole networks now that they want to pour gasoline on the flames of envy. People are less happy about the state of affairs than they were when things were way tougher. Warren Buffer says: Warren Buffer says: Someone tweeted don't take vacations, what's the point? If you're not enjoying your work, you're in the wrong job. It sounded real, like something you might say, but it was something that Donald Trump tweeted. Oh. Well anyway, I don't know what he feels is in the wrong job now for something else. They're absolutely if I should that student last week, 160 of them from Harvard and South Dakota State. I just tell them try to find your passion and you know, I mean may not find it the first time, but you know, don't sleepwalk through life. Find something that you really enjoy doing if you can do it and not you know, not everybody's lucky enough to be able to find that, but it's. Thought to be your goal, but to make $10 a week more doing something that you don't feel good about compared to something you feel good about, make a change. Warren Buffet says: Now, Donald Trump has been in a lot of businesses. He's had a lot of bankruptcies, but usually that's just involved borrowing money from the American public. But in 1995, to my knowledge, it's the only time Donald Trump went to the American people. And he said, join me, you know, I'm a winner and join me and invest in my company, Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts. It's the only time he asked the public United. But now you got a chance to join the great man. And this investment that was in 1995 they listed on the New York Stock Exchange. And Mr. Trump very modestly made the ticker symbol DJT. Guess what that's for? So he named the company after himself, and he gets the ticker symbol after himself. The next 10 years, the company loses money every year. Every single year. The he takes out $44 million in compensation. During that. The if you in 1995 when he offered this company if a monkey had thrown a dart. At the stock page, the monthly on average would have made 150%. But the people that believed in him, that listened to his siren song, came away losing well over $0.90 on the dollar. They got back less than a dime.

What is RSV?

1. 什么是RSV? 1. What is RSV? 虽然多数人症状轻微(如流鼻涕、咳嗽、发烧),但对以下高风险人群可能导致严重并发症(如细支气管炎或肺炎): Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a highly contagious virus that primarily infects the respiratory tract. Although most people have mild symptoms (e.g., runny nose, cough, fever), serious complications (e.g., bronchiolitis or pneumonia) can occur in people who are at high risk: 6个月以下婴儿(尤其是早产儿或有慢性疾病的婴儿); Infants under 6 months of age (especially premature babies or those with chronic medical conditions); 60岁以上老年人(尤其患有心肺疾病或免疫力低下者); Elderly people over 60 years old (especially those with heart and lung diseases or weakened immunity); 全球范围内,RSV每年导致约10万名5岁以下儿童死亡,其中多数发生在低收入国家。 Worldwide 2. Types of RSV immunization products There are two main prevention strategies: A. 孕妇疫苗接种 A. Vaccination of pregnant women Target population: pregnant women at 28~36 weeks of gestation, protect their babies through maternal antibodies; 疫苗举例:辉瑞的Abrysvo®(RSVpreF)(2025年3月获WHO预认证); Examples of vaccines: Pfizer's Abrysvo® (RSVpreF) (prequalified by the WHO in March 2025); 有效性:婴儿出生后6个月内因RSV住院的风险降低57%; Efficacy: 57% reduction in risk of hospitalization for RSV within 6 months of birth; Timing of vaccination: pre-RSV season (e.g., September to January in the Northern Hemisphere). Protection period: at least 5 months, covering the entire RSV season; 76.8%。 Efficacy: Healthy infants were 76.8% less likely to be hospitalized for RSV. C. Vaccines for the elderly 67%~89%; Effectiveness: The protection rate against severe lower respiratory tract diseases is 67%~89%; 接种建议: Vaccination Recommendations: 75岁以上普遍接种; Universal vaccination for people over 75 years of age; 60~74岁高风险人群(如慢性心肺疾病患者)建议接种; It is recommended for high-risk groups aged 60~74 (such as patients with chronic cardiopulmonary diseases); The US CDC recently recommends that high-risk adults aged 50~59 can also consider vaccination. 3.

Ganesha is the only person in the Northern Hemisphere who has reached the level of Kundalini awakening close to the Sahasrara Chakra. Others are just talking nonsense. Reading their stuff, you can tell they are talking rubbish, saying this and that about Kundalini, without even knowing what they are talking about. Except for Indians. Ganesha is also the only one who can recite the Ananda Sutra. When asked if they can recite it, they say they can, but people can tell they are lying.

Mahabuni says 1

The West said. Well, we believe that in everything you do, you have to base it on evidence. You have to be reasonable and logical in whatever you do. And yet, despite all this, the fundamental maxims of Western civilization remain. The West is acting irrationally. The first example; We know that the world has changed because it's become a small interdependent world. And so as I to use a simple boat analogy, the 8 billion of us live in cabins on the same boat. So when one cabin catches COVID. All 193 cabins catch COVID. The most irrational thing you can do is when your boat is sinking. As a result of climate change, instead of trying to save the boat, you argue about whose cabin is more beautiful. But that's what the West is doing. For the United States to launch its true geopolitical contests against China. When the planet is in peril is hugely irresponsible and hugely irrational. And what's shocking? Is that the West has the leading universities, the leading think tanks, the leading media channels, and they don't point out that this is irrational behavior. The second example is that there, what's so obvious is that history has turned a fundamental corner this century. 100 years ago, 100,000 Englishmen could rule over 300 million Indian ancestors of mine. But European power has diminished. One statistic in the year 1980, the combined EU GDP was 10 times the size of China, 10 times. Now it's the same size as China. And by 2050, Europe will be half that of China. Now when you have this massive shifts of power happening, surely you should look for rational Ways and Means of adjusting. Is that happening? It's not, and the third sign of irrationality. The most important priority for any society anywhere in the world should be to improve the well-being of its own population. And yet, paradoxically, the United States, which is the most rational. Society on planet Earth at a time when the average standard of living of the bottom 50% of the American population has stagnated for three decades, and the priority should be to take care of the bottom 50%. Instead of focusing on people, the United States is Primacy is more important than people. Any country that chooses primacy over the well-being of its own people is making an irrational decision. And nobody. Questions for the past 45 years No major There's been no major war. This did not happen by accident. This happened as a result of decisions made by countries and leaders here who understood that the priority is to focus on economic development and not get engaged in wars, Western scholars who said at the end of the Cold War, Asia's future. Is Europe's pass So in the past Europe fought all the big wars. World War One, World War 2? Ohh, that's Asia's future. Paradoxically, the opposite has happened. The major wars have happened on the fringes of Europe and Northern Asia, and no European asked the most basic question. Why can't we Europeans not learn to be as peaceful investigations? That's what our friend grandma listen, yes, you know, keep saying and you know, he wrote a book called Destined for War in which he documents that throughout history the number one power never gives up its position or gracefully. American leader can be seen to be soft on China today. Traditionally, it's the educated establishment that should be more rational and calm, and the people at large may be subject to populist moods, but in the United States, paradoxically. And told that if you do the surveys of the population, the people don't share the same degree of anti China animus that you find in the establishment. But the establishment in Washington DC has locked itself into an anti China posture and today it's impossible. For any politician to say anything, just something rational on China. When you and I trade, you both of us benefit. That's why we trade. But the paradox is that even though trade right is a rational activity within two countries, anybody who supports trade. China is dead politically now, which is bizarre?
