in the world of business and the American dream are the ones who are able to run for president no but is that better than a system where it's somebody else is billionaire puppet that's on that debate stage that actually is just uttering words handed to them by billionaire provided super PAC yes I think that's better and I think we're gonna address the corruption in Washington DC the corruption of people there are other candidates in this race this description making millions of dollars off of connections in government service afterwards lobbying in a career using government connections this is corruption that exists in both parties then yes I do think it will take an outsider to that system coming in to break that system one of the things I think we need to stop apologizing for in this country the power of capitalism I have succeeded not in government and I will not fame having government experience that I don't have but the people who do have government experience in some ways goddess into the mess that we're in today so I think we live in a moment where it will take an outsider someone who comes from the outside ideally even someone who comes from the next generation to reach the next generation of whom we have so many in this room today I think it will take somebody who's best days I hope or still get ahead in life to see a country whose best days are still yet ahead in life and I'm not name dropping when I mentioned Thomas Jefferson these are people I look up to as our founding fathers he was 33 years old when he wrote the Declaration of Independence I'm an which was equally broken by the same corrupt special interest system so I say break that system start with zero as the baseline and then ask what's actually necessary you're not gonna get that type of 蔡正元说中国金融 对于有关金融战的言论, 在大陆上是很风行， 可是我深深不以为然， 我觉得这些人都没有好好念书， 不要把这些拉里拉杂的事情统统搞在一起， 因为不是用一个金融战就可以去解释这些现象， 中国的房地产问题有自己政策失误的问题， 必须要甚至检讨， 我一定要强调这一点， 不要什么事情的东西怪美国的利息啊，什么美元的债券啊， 每年利息，美元债券，难道影响了美国自己不重吗？ 所以不要用经济现象，有的时候是有一种很特殊的状况在运作啊， 你不要什么东西都好像说啊这个什么美国这个故意欺负我，才调升利息，美国要调升利息怎么会是考虑到中国，日本跟欧洲呢？ 不会吗！每人有自己的美元的发行权，就像人民币一样，人民币也可以调升利息，你也可以降利息啊， 所以这个不要把他扯在一起， 好像美国调升利息，我们中国资金就往外流， 利息的变动，汇率的变动，股市的变动使得资金在全世界跑来跑去，这是一个很正常的现象， 不要以为每一个人都是冲着你来，如果中国的金融问题上考虑的话，就表示中国的金融界在讨论问题还是在儿童时期，根本长不大，根本就是很幼稚，实在是不值得一批一评的，我要简单讲一下 美国为什么要涨利息？ 简单讲一下俄乌战争，俄乌战争的时候，之前美国为什么要去走所谓的量化宽松，量化宽松就是因为金融海啸之后的问题再加上新冠疫情，美国用庞大的财政赤字去解决问题，那是他内部的问题， 跟全世界无关，那你当时的时候，他为了要扩大货币供给，大卖债券，债券价格要拉高， 所以利息要压低，他不断的去操作这个， 中国看不懂吗？ 你不会回应吗？ 你要不要囤了一大堆美元 还在外汇存底，谁吞的？ 不是人民银行吗？ 不是不要从头骂到尾就在这里啊，这纯粹是一个金融专业知识的问题，我不晓得北京这个金融是错的，我也不公开讲说你李克强，在当时管理的人民银行包括易纲，绝对是在错误的路上，才有今天的后果啊，这是第一个， 我要说明的， 不要把这事赖到美国的身上去，我想全世界批评美国比我还凶悍的没几个， 但是你把这个赖到美国身上去，对你自己看清楚自己的病症是没有帮助的， 这跟美国无关， 因为这些囤美元的，美国有拜托你囤美元吗？ 没有吧！ 对不对啊？ 你有三兆多的美元， 你只有拿个几千亿去买美债而已，这个是你自己要囤的， 你怪谁啊， 第二主要说明一点，中国的房地产问题是中国房地产因为涨幅过高，涨幅过高的时候，结果在2022年，莫名其妙的李克强国务院出抬了三条红线政策， 他忘了一件事情，新冠疫情本身就是一个很严格的紧缩经济现象， 然后又加上三条红线，使得银行疯狂的抽银根， 银行是被迫在命令底下去抽银根， 不是一个正确的抉择， 所以出一过度的时候，就会带动房地产疯狂下跌， 使得这个泡沫化没有办法软着陆， 经济学上的词叫做soft landing, 那你没有让他soft landing的话, 就会处处爆雷, 所以整个中国的房地产就接着去影响到中国的地方银行,中国的地方银行因为它放款的范围不够大, 所以顶多只能在他当地放, 放来放去还是房地产， 没有什么其他产业可以放，所以连带的地方银行，夹杀了地方的财政， 这是一个连锁的房地产泡沫的问题， 这个问题大不大？不大！因为在金融海啸的时候，美国的房地产也是哀鸿遍野， 也是垮的一塌糊涂啊， 那人家是怎么收拾呢? 他们的花了将近两年时间, 才把这个问题收拾干净, 那中国不要急, 你现在针对不同的个案去处理, 把这个泡沫处理好, 那处理好的这个方法很多, 有各国的经验,有中国自己的经验,有中国各几个城市处理的方式， 就以万达跟万科来讲，万达产生是大连的， 那万科产生是深圳的， 然后万达是王健林在私人企业，万科是王石所创立起来， 但是因为有深圳地铁公司， 政府在后面运作， 所以算是半官半民的公司，这两个在当时中国房地产最热的时候， 他们丢了庞大的资金到房地产里面去， 而且他们走错了路，走错了就是说他们丢了太多在商业房地产，好是商业房地产比较稳固， 坏是商业房房地产迎来了新冠疫情， 以及中国一个很特殊的现象， 就是网络经济的兴起， 网络经济的兴起，就会使得商场的销售量降低， 连带的是商场的租金下降， 带动了商场房地产价格的下跌， 这是一个潜在的力量，你作为一个企业家怎么会看不出来呢？ 你作为一个政府官员，当时为什么没有看出来？所以现在你只要看到美团秀秀的兴起，对看到那些外卖行业的兴起，你就知道这个连贯性是很大的，中国也有很多专业经济学早就写了很多研究报告，国务院怎么看不懂呢？ 谁该打屁股就很清楚了嘛， 因为当时管房地产的不是党中央吗，管金融的不是党中央吗，是国务院吗！就是该打屁股吗！对不对？ 那你一连串的政策你怪美国拉高利息，美国拉高利息会看德国吗？不会啊！德国很惨，看日本吗？日本很惨，就是每一个国家历史的变动，你要因应它， 要把它当做颱风来了，要因应它， 不是去抱怨颱风为什么要来，你要一味地震抗震系数， 因为我在几年前，我一直呼吁中国要对自己的银行跟房地产业做压力测试， 那我当着很多的大陆官员说，有啊有做压力测试， 结果我才发现他们，第一个他们没做压力测试， 第二他们不懂，不懂可以花钱就找人来做啊，压力测试一向是金融行业跟房地产政策上很重要的，人家下三道红线就要做压力测试，通通没有，李克强当国务院总理，不是他下了台我才批评他，我批评国务院很久了，这个政策是不对的， 那你现在把它扯到金融上， 金融怎么跟你讲，你说哎呀调高利息， 你的利息比我高， 所以很多钱都跑到你那边存，银行竞争不是这样子吗？ 美国愿意加高利息美国高利息美国政府每年要给很多利息， 他财政赤字越来越大，他也是寅吃卯粮， 比中国还惨呢， 美国GDP才二十四万亿美金，他现在负债已经三十四万亿啦， 那会不会爆雷？ 我跟各位讲，不会， 为什么？还不会！经济学家有个经验词叫做7%门槛，7% critical limits这句话什么意思呢？ 就是当一个国家的政府公债的实质利率只要跨过7%， 这个国家就会破产， 美国现在还没有， 四点多而已， 那欧猪五国，欧洲每一个政府全部都破产， 还好有一个国家没有挂， 就是德国， 那时候德国很有钱， 梅克尔掏私人的腰包，就济兄弟姐妹们， 度过难关，这样住在有钱家的人家的旁边还是有好处的，所以这些欧洲国家都困难，德国拿钱出来补贴，希腊，意大利，冰岛，他们很惨，连荷兰都被拖进去，荷兰有钱了被拖进去，有钱的兄弟姐妹还是有好处，临时你可以向他们借到钱，渡过难关，统统破产，那美国现在的利率还没有到达7%，为什么我跟他解释，这是一个债券原理上，很重要的观念，就是当你的十年的政府公债的利率超过7%，表示说你十年里面,你至少要付70%的钱出去， 你发行一百亿你就要花七十亿出去，可是不要忘记了债券是复利率的， 所以你只要7% 的利息已超过去的话， 你的总共付出的债务要加倍，没有一个国家经济成长力支撑了财政，能够超过两倍的这种速度成长，不可能，绝不可能，中国最高速成长的10%，8%，7%， 你不要忘记的事情，这个10%经济增长率，好是好， 可是扣掉通货膨胀，也没有大大气泡， 所以全世界实质经济增长率要超过7%， 真的不太容易，所以经济学家才会铁口直断， 你超过7%， 我就说你挂了，所以美国还不会不会爆雷的原因就在这里啦，那中国真的没有问题， 大家不要急， 静下心来， 不要今天，稍微有点房地产不顺啊，就怪风水不好啦，怪祖坟不好， 怪隔壁邻居，这个什么出门没敲门，怪美国利息，打金融战， 不要有被破坏妄想症， 我们老老实实坐下来， 检讨我们自己，哪里做对了，哪里做错了，吾一日三省吾身，是咱们中国人老祖宗教我们的哲学，所以我只要听到大陆上有很多人说美国对我们打金融战，我真的想要丢他一个石头，要敲他们的脑袋， 拜托醒一醒好不好，外汇操作失误，这是事实，外汇存底的结构错误，使得人民币没有办法国际化，是个事实，第三个你在银行的政策，美元霸权怎么来的？ 绝对不是大家想的，美元有强迫中国存三兆美金吗？ 没有啊！对不对？ 三万美金是中国老百姓辛辛苦苦赚的，要放在人民银行，美元之所以成为霸权， 几个很重要的原因；第一个原因是什么？ 因为在冷战时代，跟单极世界里面， 美国GDP是全世界最大，你不能光这个是吧？第二个美国是当时全世界贸易量最大的，只是美国没有想到有一天，中国的贸易量会超过他，以上者而已，当然它最大，所以国际上让美国有机会在全世界各地设很多银行，所以美国能建立庞大的银行交易系统，所谓的SWIFT是后来才延伸的, 用电脑结算, 用电脑结算之前早就有这个清算系统了, 因为它有一个提供一个,就像那个支付宝一样,像微信一样,它的提供大家一个很低廉的交易成本,好的， 这是第一点，第二个他早年跟黄金挂钩，后来没有跟黄金挂钩，为什么大家还要买呢？现在美国的资产市场对全世界开放，只要你有美元，在美国随便都可以买房地产，买股票，她几乎对你没有什么限制，所以你就愿意拥有美元，进进出出都很方便，美国银行到处都有，都可以换各种货币，它是靠一个很强大的经济交易系统，把美元推向全世界，就像中国推销电动汽车一样，他没有拿着枪要你买美元， 对不对？ 大家喜欢中国的电动汽车，好用啊！便宜呀，就是这样子呀，相对的人民币就不是这样子，海外人民币可以拿回大陆上买房地产吗？不行，对不对？到今天为止，台湾香港澳门老百姓, 要到大陆上去买那些大陆的卖不掉的房地产，都还要经过很复杂的程序， 你更不要讲美国人嘛，对不对？真的，他很重要很复杂程序啊，要不然就是说你在中国大陆居住时间超过多久了，那你在中国大陆购置收入啦， 那你在中国大陆，那现在日本对全世界开放，所以中国很多人拿钱到日本去买房地产，他只要看你护照，其它都不用，现在因为中国对自己闭锁了很厉害，所以在处理房地产的时候，就碍手碍脚吗，甚至以前更荒唐，你不是上海人不能在上海买房地产， 如果不是重庆人不能在重庆买房地产，那重庆的房地产滞销，你不让北京人去买，当地人怎么消化得了嘞？所以自己的经济观念有问题，你怎么怪到金融战啊，而且你人民币利息往下降，中国资金会跑掉，也不会，因为中国外汇管制很严格， 每年王健， 李嘉诚， 跑出去的钱， 那是小钱嘛，整个中国的储蓄体量那么大，根本不是问题，随便数字来算一算就知道了吗，像去年我就想我就笃定嘛，中国的经济成长没有问题是至少4.9最多5.4，预计出来5.3，所以电视台很多人说我像神一样，我不是神，我只是像医生看病一样，我不会跟你们讲花言巧语，乱骗人，我又不是算命的，对不对？我就说啊，很客观上来看问题，所以不要动不动说找金融战？为什么人会长这么漂亮，是不是爸爸妈妈漂亮？谈问题就要聚焦在问题上，第一个美国不会暴雷，因为它的利息还没有到7%，第二个美国没有在跟谁打金融战， 它只有跟俄罗斯打金融战，就是没收他的财产那叫金融战，阻挡人家进入这个市场叫作金融战，其他的美元的存在是用一个很方便，那中国大陆为什么不让人民币，让大家使用的很方便，我就问一个问题吧， 为什么？就是以前怕这个怕那个，跟那个内地人民币都还不能交换，我了解大陆上，他们也在适应，慢慢学习，可是你要对全世界开放，这是必走之路，很多人喊著人民币世界化，人民币国际化，我就笑他人民币怎么世界化国际化？你人民币自己仓库里面囤了一大堆美元，你告诉我说你要国际化，不是很好笑嘛

Unfortunately to us, Anisha volunteered working in this library. Anisha grabed this chance to talk bad about us. She talked to our students and to the workers in the liberay. I can not immagine what react from the students and workers. It is obvious the liberay stop the class. One of the students talked to rudranii and asked about what's going on. 4/26/2024 Anisha and Tusiita hired a handyman to work on the shared driveway. Rudranii saw them and called Hiranyamaya to inform him. He said that nobody should be working on the shared driveway. He also mentioned that Anisha and Tusiita had previously complained about something we placed on the border of the shared driveway. I need to explain something to all HOA members. Issues between Anisha and Tusiita, and us, are not just a private matter between two families. It's a concern for everyone in the community. The law is the law. If Anisha can put something on or work on the shared driveway, and you members think it's not your problem, you'll likely let it go this time. But if something similar happens again in your neighborhood, how would you resolve the problem then? Anisha and Tussita knew the rule but they still charge HOA bottom line again and again. They don't respect that we all agree what we agree. Yama and niyama, social moral would not accept this kind of attitude. Last year, you might have thought this was just an issue between families, so you said it was negative and that we shouldn't discuss it over email. Later on when they lost their package, , they agreed to put on a suvoyor. it is so obvious, too me, it's a racism against me. 4/26/2024 Rudranii told Hiranmaya he is favored to Anisha and Tusiita. Hiranyamaya didn't admit it. he said she didn't understand and made a wrong judgement. Actually, it's very true. They are favored Anisha and Tusiita. Give an example this time, when rudranii complaining they are working some construction work on the shared driveway. They did it many times. Hiranyamaya didn't come to check. Most Members of Congress are anti Chinese in their sentiment. Most are rather ignorant I would say of China and global realities, but whether ignorant or not they have some say and so the anti China sentiment is quite strong. We're going into an election year which is always a further. Yeah, it's an occasion of exaggeration, fear mongering and so forth. So this could even increase the tensions. The tensions over Taiwan are very, very high. There are two motivations of, well, I would say maybe 3 motivations of the US policies. And I don't agree with them. But the three motivations are first, to try to protect American industry, because America lost a lot of its industry to competition from China and from other countries in the last 30 years, and it believes that protectionism. Is the way to build the industry once again. So that's one motivation. A second motivation is deliberately to try to slow China's economic progress. This is sometimes called containment, and it's a part of the US. Policy. I even more strongly disagree with that, because I don't think it's the business of any country to try to hurt the economy of another country, even a competitor. But the United States is overtly trying to hurt China’s economy, and I really object to that. The third motivation is military, the claim that the US is taking steps to protect its. Military technology as part of competition with China, not to hurt the overall Chinese economy. I think that this argument is also greatly overblown, because while countries will have their military secrets and will aim to keep military technology secret. The United States is pursuing a very crude approach to this. Labeling so many things military on the idea that maybe it could have a military application even when the overwhelming uses are civilian. So if this were really the consideration, I think the US and China would negotiate bilaterally in specific detail over specific issues. And it's hard to make one. They're making you. So what are the implications and prospects of this? Well, first. It is possible, though not likely, that the United States would reverse some of the actions that it's taken. That is the course that I favor, because the US is imposed these steps unilaterally, not as part of any kind of negotiation with China, not under the rules of the world. Trade Organization, but simply, unilaterally. I've objected each time. But I my objection doesn't count. Other than in the public advocacy, the politics in Washington have remained quite anti China in this regard so. One possibility, though, is that as the US and China resume a strategic dialogue, which they promised to do, including High Level Economic dialogue led by the US Treasury and the Chinese officials in charge of the economy, maybe they would work out. Better arrangements and the US would remove some of its unilateral policies. I very much hope that's the case. If not. China faces a problem without question, which is that China's growth of exports to the US market has stopped. In fact, this year Chinas exports to the US are lower than in 2022 comparing month. Versus the month 12 months ago. So we can see that the US actions are already having an effect and this is part of the reason why China's growth has slowed this year. China's slower growth this year is often attributed to the financial problems in the real estate sector or specific. Within China, problems, but definitely a factor in the slowdown, is the US trade policy. So my own. Recommendations for China in response to this? Is to promote its exports in other markets. So if the US is closing. Exports to Chinese goods. I would like to see China promote its very effective, low cost, high quality exports to. The emerging economies, and China's main instrument for doing that, it seems to me, is the Belt and Rd. initiative, which is a initiative that I strongly support. It is that China lends money to other countries to buy modernized infrastructure to build the fast rail or the 5G or the renewable energy grid that those countries need and by providing low cost long term financing. China's making a big contribution to the development, say, of the ASEAN countries or East Africa or Latin America. So next month, China has the 10th Belton Rd. Summit It's the 10th anniversary of this DRI because it was launched in 2013. I would like to see China announce an expanded Belton Rd. initiative. I think that would be good for Chinas exports, good for China's economy and good for the partner countries. So if the US won't accept Chinese exports, most of the world needs them. Because most of the world still needs fast rail, renewable energy systems, 5G and other core infrastructure. And China's the low cost, high quality producer of that infrastructure and the Bri is designed precisely to finance that kind of infrastructure. So. This is an approach that I would advocate. Kishore Mahbubani speech Ladies and gentlemen, it is truly a great honor to be recognized for promoting greater understanding of China in the global community. I'm sorry to celebrate that prevented me better understanding of China in our global community, especially in the West, which has never been greater. China, the oldest continuous civilization, is a perfectly natural development, and it’s an undeniable fact that from the year one to the year 1820, the two largest global economies were always those of China and India. So the real aberration in human history was the past 200 years of Western domination. All aberrations come to a natural end, and this explains the natural resurgence of China, India, and other great Asian societies. Sadly, Western leaders and policymakers have not prepared themselves intellectually and emotionally to accept the Asian 21st century that is unfolding before our eyes. Fortunately, most of the 88% of the world that lives outside the West accepts this. Most societies in the world, especially in Asia, have had strong relations with China for centuries, if not millennia. Hence, there is deep respect for the deep pools of wisdom in Chinese civilization. By sharing its wisdom, China is helping us to create a better world of humanity. This is why the greatest global imperative today is to promote a deeper understanding of China. Even a brief study of the history of China with its record of zero overseas colonial expansion could help American policymakers lay to rest the deep fear that China is threatening America. It isn't. Instead, China's willingness to work with America and other global powers on pressing global challenges should be seen as a massive opportunity to create a better world for humanity, which now shares a 'community of common destiny for mankind.' With this award in hand, I will redouble my personal efforts to promote a better understanding of China, like the late Professor Ezra Vogel, a good friend of mine who received a similar award. China's rise as I was saying was inevitable. It was unnatural for China to go from having 25 to 30% of the world's economy in 1820; 2% in 1950, 2% was an unreal figure. It's quite natural for China to go back up and achieve the world's largest economy. For the last 200 years the number one power has always been a Western power so even when power pass, Number one power pass from the British to the Americans, even it went from one Western power to another Western power. But now we are facing a transition for the first time in 200 years, where the number one power it's gonna be a non-Western power which is China, and so this is something that the world hasn't dealt with for 200 years, and therefore it's not surprising that many do not know how to handle this transition; it is inevitable that the United states would at some point become very concerned about China's rise, and When I spent three months in America. I was shocked to discover how frightened of China and as a result, the anti Chinese sentiment has grown significantly in America and so it is inevitable the America is going to look for new ways and means of counter balancing China, And so the idea of indo Pacific what's behind the indo Pacific is a way to find to balance China's enormous growth but at the same time it will be wise for China not to react negatively to the idea of Indo-Pacific because if you look at the ancient history of Asia, many Chinese scholars, Xuan Zang, used to travel from China through Southeast Asia to India to study and there's a famous university called Nalanda university in Bihar, so the Indo Pacific and maybe an idea that the Americans are creating is also a good description of ancient Asian history and it's good for us to recreate all connections of the past I think that it would be India’s national interests to work with China, on the belt and Road. initiative but right now there's a small technical problem which is that as part of the belt and Road. initiative China and Pakistan have established the China Pakistan economic corridor which goes through territory which is disputed between Pakistan and India; so as a result of that, it is, I think natural that India has to object that But that can be overcome and you can find Ways and Means of overcoming those differences, and to focus on areas where they can work together because frankly one thing that India needs very badly today is good infrastructure and the infrastructure superpower the world for there is China. So China, India partnership to build a good infrastructure, will be a tremendous boost the India economy, so in some ways the Belt and Road on initiative is also an Indo Pacific idea, because the Belt and Road initiative is not just about the old Silk Road, going across Central Asia but there's also a road a maritime silk road that goes through Southeast Asia through India to the middle east. So there's no incompatibility behind the BRI idea, that Belt and Road initiative and the Indo-Pacific idea. I think there's no, if you look at China's long history; if China had had the same imperialist instincts, global imperial instinct as the Western countries, Australia should have been a Chinese country, but instead of, Australia was a Western country because the British colonizers came all the way from the Atlantic to the Pacific to colonize Australia so I think that hasn't been this traditionally this impulse in Chinese history to go out around the world and to conquer the world and so that's something that I think that long history of China I think is a reassuring sign for the world that when China becomes a great power it will not try to repeat what the West did at the height of its power and colonize the world. But we are at a fork in the road, so if the US and China, for example, this can happen, decide to go for zero sum competition Where will win for one is a loss for the other, then it will be a very troubled world, and you'll see lots of geopolitical turbulence around the world, But you take the other road, and if the US and China decide that, yes they have differences they will compete in some areas there will be economic competition economic competition is good for the world but there will be or military containment policies, then you could have overall a more stable world order, but nobody knows what's going to happen because the America leaders don't know what China is going to do and they don't know what they will do And China’s leaders also do not know what America's leaders will do nor can they predict how they will respond to this too. China is already Number One. America is in pain because they can not kill Huawei, Da Jiang and Biyadi etc.
