Shakyamuni is a vegetarian

Theravada pada monks could not change their diet. They distorted what Shakyamuni's sayings. So their excuse is we are not vegetarian because we follow what Budda says. Budda said no matter what people put into your begging bowl, you eat it, you do not choose it. so we do not have a choice. see, human being's weakness. They like that they like. They offer meat, fish to gods and goddesses, so after they bring back the prasa, they can enjoy what they like to eat. Because the followers of Theravada pada cannot follow vegetarian-diet. they want to eat meat, fish etc so they give themselves an excuse, but they bring out a rule which Budda gives a rule so we have to follow. Following compassion and love for all, after a while of practice, a spiritual person will not eat meat, fish etc. Everone knows it. Actually, Shakyamuni himself is a vegetarian for sure. But Theravada says no, Shakyamuni is not a vegetarian.
